Amadeus has launched a new Amadeus e-Support Centre complete with learning content such as user and product guides, Quick Cards, course guides, technical manuals and videos.
Originally launched in 2008 to provide 24/7 access to Amadeus support services, the online portal is available in six languages and has over 50 000 registered travel agency users in more than 50 markets across the world.
This new service enables travel agents to access a wide range of learning content online. They can browse and search for learning materials, access the Amadeus training catalogue, check course details, enrol in courses and watch short ‘Show me’ videos on key topics specifically developed to maximise knowledge retention. If agents are looking for support they can browse support solutions, search for Cryptic Entries, Error Messages and ‘How to’ and Troubleshooting solutions; access self-service support tools and log cases online.
Whether users are looking to learn more on a specific topic or require an immediate support solution, Amadeus e-Support Centre is specifically developed to meet all their learning and support needs in one easy-to-search site. All this is available at no extra cost and is designed to increase knowledge, improve productivity and save time and money spent on calls to the Amadeus Help Desk.
Peter Long, General Manager of Amadeus Southern Africa, comments: “Online self-service and search technology are a part of our daily lives. With Amadeus e-Support Centre already providing 24/7 access to a wide range of support materials, we wanted to further enhance the customer service experience by integrating Amadeus learning content. This will help reduce the customer’s need for support by increasing their knowledge and will simplify their lives by presenting all content in one site, providing learning and support when and where they need it.”
Thanks to the new user interface and navigation, Amadeus travel agency customers will experience an enhanced multi-channel offering for learning and support services.
