AmaWaterways has ordered eight new river ships scheduled for delivery by 2030, due to increased demand for river cruising. The new ships will see its fleet grow to over 40 vessels.
The ships will be used on AmaWaterways’ European itineraries and will feature the brand’s signature onboard amenities. This includes sun deck pools, walking tracks, fitness rooms and spas. The ships will also host cultural and culinary experiences unique to each destination.
“Our expanding fleet is a direct response to the strong demand from guests eager to discover river cruising and Europe’s beautiful rivers,” says Catherine Powell, CEO of AmaWaterways.
