Mark Satterfield to oversee integration of Protea, Marriott
MARK Satterfield
(pictured here) has
been appointed Marriott
International’s business
leader in South Africa, to
oversee the integration
of Protea Hospitality into
the company, following
Marriott’s purchase of the
group.
Mark, who is ceo of
Marriott International’s
Middle East and Africa
Continent organisation, will
relocate to the head office
in Cape Town.
Graduate of the Cornell
University School of Hotel
Management and former
Executive Board Member
of the British Hospitality
Association, Mark will
assist in expanding the
company and the brands
as well as managing the
integration of all systems
