Auckland airport is developing multiple public-transport projects that are expected to improve road and transport links both inside and outside the airport precinct.
The Laurence Stevens Drive project will create easier direct access to the new Park and Ride South facility for passengers. Pedestrian paths and bus stops will be improved and two new bus stops will be added.
There is also a one-way loop road being built to allow a flow of traffic past the airport’s international terminal straight back to a main road (George Bolt Memorial Drive).
These projects are on track for completion by December.
