On October 27, Austrian Airlines began operating two weekly flights between Cape Town and Vienna.
The route will be operated by a Boeing 777 in a three-class configuration (economy, business and premium economy). The flight schedule is as follows:
Flight OS31 departs Vienna on Tuesdays and Saturdays at 11h25, arriving in Cape Town at 22h40. Flight OS32 departs Cape Town on Wednesdays and Sundays at 00h20, arriving in Vienna at 10h50.
Dr André Schulz, Lufthansa Group gm for Southern Africa said: “The Austrian Airlines service to Cape Town will offer a premium economy class, which until now has only been available on Lufthansa aircraft.”
