ITA Airways has expanded its codeshare with the Lufthansa Group on long-haul routes to destinations in Africa and Asia for travel dates from September 2.
Under the ITA Airways code, flights can be booked through Brussels Airport to:
- Abidjan
- Douala
- Freetown
- Monrovia
- Nairobi
- Ouagadougou.
Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines and Brussels Airlines passengers will be able to book flights using a single ticket via Rome Fiumicino to:
- Bangkok
- Jeddah
- Cairo
- Riyadh
- Rio de Janeiro
- São Paulo
The Lufthansa code will be added to ITA Airways-operated flights and the ITA Airways code on destinations served by Lufthansa Group airlines.
The ITA code will be applied to the following Lufthansa Group’s flights:
- Frankfurt/Munich to Delhi (DEL)
- Frankfurt/Munich to Mumbai
- Munich to Seoul
Lufthansa passengers can use single-ticket benefits to travel to these destinations in ITA Airways’ network:
- Rome Fiumicino to Accra
- Rome Fiumicino to Dakar
- Rome Fiumicino to Delhi
