BA to launch Osaka flights

British Airways will launch a four times a week direct service to Osaka from March 31, 2019.  Flights will depart from Heathrow Terminal 5 and land at Osaka’s Kansai International Airport.

The new route, operated by the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, takes the number of daily flights between London and Japan offered as part of British Airways’ joint business with Japan Airlines, up to 32 a week.

Japan Airlines will also offer a codeshare on the new service, giving customers more opportunities to earn and redeem Avios loyalty points across the network.

Flight BA19/JL7078 will depart Heathrow at 14h20 on Mondays Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, and arrive at Kansai International Airport at 09h50 the next day.

Flight BA20/JL7079 will depart Kansai International Airport at 11h30 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, and arrive at Heathrow at 15h50.
