Blue Origin launches successful space excursion

Blue Origin, the commercial space travel company owned by Jeff Bezos, has successfully launched six passengers to the edge of outer space for the first time since 2022.

The launch of Blue Origin’s New Shepard rocket and capsule on Saturday followed a two-year pause due to a failed launch of an unmanned test flight.

At the flight’s peak point, tourists and crew experienced weightlessness for a few minutes, with astonishing views of Earth below.
