As part of its strategic fleet growth plan, on May 14 Qatar Airways placed the largest order in Boeing’s history.
The order for 210 Boeing widebody jets includes a firm order for 160 aircraft, with the option to order 50 more. The airline said it was the largest widebody order and the largest 787 Dreamliner order in Boeing’s history.
It includes 130 B787 Dreamliners, 30 B777-9s and the option for an additional 50 B787 and B777X aircraft.
