Carnival Cruise Line’s Carnival Miracle returned to service on May 11 after undergoing renovations ahead of its summer sailings in Europe.

The ship welcomed the first guests in Lisbon.

Upgrades include the addition of new venues such as the Heroes Tribute Bar & Lounge and revamped public spaces, such as Cloud 9 Spa, Java Blue coffee shop and Lido marketplace. An all-new Carnival Adventures store gives guests a space to plan and book experiences ashore, while the mini-golf area, nightclub and casino have been remodelled and expanded. A Chef’s Table venue was added, offering Carnival’s signature culinary experience.

The seven-day itinerary from Lisbon visits La Coruña and Bilbao in Spain, followed by Bordeaux and Paris. The ship will then sail to Dover for a series of nine- and 12-day cruises to destinations across the British Isles, Scandinavia, the Baltic and Northern Europe. Later in the summer, Carnival Miracle will reposition in Italy, for cruises in Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece and Turkey.
