Carnival Cruise Line announced its newest ship, Carnival Destiny, at a steel-cutting ceremony in Monfalcone, Italy. It is the first of three next-generation Ace-class ships scheduled for delivery.
The vessel is due to be delivered in mid-2029. The megaship is more outward-facing, featuring a large number of ocean-view balcony cabins, a new lanai deck and glass walls which open up sightlines across the vessel.
Carnival will also introduce new concepts across dining, bars and lounges, as well as entertainment and outdoor spaces.
The ship is set to sail to destinations in the Caribbean, the Bahamas and Mexico. Two additional Ace-class ships are planned for 2031 and 2033.
