Carnival Cruise Line has completed upgrades to its private island destination, RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay in The Bahamas.
The destination features new and upgraded food and beverage venues. Orchid Beach Grill, Hibiscus Beach Grill, Luna Tide Beach Bar, Stay Awhile Beach Shack and Lil’ Tiki Bar offer a variety of island-style meals, buffets and drinks.
A new pier has also been constructed, allowing Excel-class ships to dock at the destination for the first time, while a new tram service connects the different areas of the island.
The new Papaya Pathway offers a scenic walking route for passengers who prefer to explore on foot.
Upgrades are also under way on the island’s existing south side, with new design elements and food and beverage venue upgrades. Activity options and excursions will continue to be available.
