Celebrity River Cruises, the premium river cruising brand of Royal Caribbean, has opened sales for 2028. The itineraries feature more than160 sailings to over 50 destinations across Europe.
This includes:
- Lower Danube Cruises, from Bucharest, with an overnight stay in Romania, through the Iron Gates gorge’s river passage to key historic and cultural destinations.
- Upper Danube Cruises, travelling between Regensburg or Nuremberg to Budapest, along the Danube through Germany, Austria and Hungary.
- Rhine River Cruises, sailing between Basel and Amsterdam, passing Strasbourg, Breisach and Rüdesheim.
- Dutch Tulip Season Cruises, cruising between Brussels and Amsterdam to showcase the Netherlands’ famous spring tulip season. Calls to key ports see guests exploring Keukenhof Gardens, the windmills of Kinderdijk and the city of Maastricht.
- Christmas Market Cruises, sailing between Basel and Amsterdam with stops in the Rhine Valley and the villages of Mainz, Strasbourg and Heidelberg, visiting vineyards and Christmas markets.
Construction has already begun on the cruise line’s first river ship, Celebrity Compass, set to debut in 2027. An additional 10 ships were announced with the intention of expanding the fleet to 20 ships by 2031.
