Great Kei Adventures has launched guided Wild Coast forest walks in the Eastern Cape.

Botany enthusiasts Brian Berkowitz and Kathy Raven will guide guests from the Morgan Bay Beach parking area through the nearby indigenous forest, along a tidal pool and then back along the beach. The walk will last approximately four hours and requires a moderate fitness level. It costs R250 per person and requires a minimum of four people per booking.

If guests require transport, Great Kei Adventures is available for shuttle services to East London and back, on request. Prices out of season are R1 600 for four to six pax, R1 800 for seven to nine pax, and R2 000 for 10-13 pax.

Nearby hotels include The Mitford Hotel and The Morgan Bay Hotel, a 45-minute drive from East London. Kathy and Brian also have their own accommodation option for up to four guests, The Tree House (Khaya Mithi), a multi-level rondavel situated on the edge of the forest.
