Disney parks in California and Florida are set to close to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
Disneyland California
The two California parks will close first, from March 14 until the end of the month. The Hotels of Disneyland Resort will remain open until March 16 to allow guests to make necessary travel arrangements, and Downtown Disney will remain open. Disneyland will work with guests who wish to change or cancel their visits and will provide refunds to visitors who have hotel bookings during the closure.
Walt Disney World Florida
The theme parks at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida will close from March 16 until the end of the month. Disney Springs and the Disney Resort hotels will remain open.
Unexpired multi-day theme park tickets with unused days, or date-specific theme park tickets with a start date on or before March 31, will be extended to use any time until December 15. Those who are unable to visit by December 15 may apply the value of a wholly used ticket toward the purchase of a ticket for a future date.
Guests who have not checked in for stays from March 16-31 can modify or cancel their Disney room reservation or Walt Disney Travel Company package up to the original check-in date. They will waive all Disney-imposed change and cancellation fees up to the date of check-in until June 30, if guests want to cancel a hotel reservation after the parks reopen.
