CPT to JFK, via NBO

Delta Air Lines and Kenya Airways have expanded their codeshare agreement, extending Kenya Airways’ reach in North America via New York-JFK International Airport.  This will take effect on August 11.

This is an enhancement of an existing codeshare agreement between the two, in existence since August 2018, giving Delta access to Kenya Airways routes via Nairobi, to Johannesburg,  Addis Ababa, Lilongwe and Maputo.

The enhanced agreement enables Delta’s customers in Cape Town, Harare and Kigali to fly via Nairobi to New York-JFK (as an alternative to the Johannesburg flights to Atlanta), and then onward to Washington or Indianapolis if desired.

“Strengthening our partnership with Kenya Airways responds to customer demand for more travel choice between the continent and North America,” said Alain Bellemare, Delta’s evp and president international. “These codeshare services will offer customers greater access to destinations in South, West and East Africa, rounding out Delta’s existing network of nonstop services to Accra, Dakar, Johannesburg and Lagos.”
