Emirates has a new function on its app that lets customers create their own playlists before their flight and sync it to their seat once boarded.
Passengers can now use the app to browse through the airline’s entertainment catalogue, which features over 4 000 channels including over 1 000 movies, television series, music, podcasts and games.
Emirates president, Sir Tim Clark, said: “Our customers can now browse the unmatched content on offer and create personal entertainment playlists at their leisure, and once comfortably settled in their seats on board, they simply sync and press play.”
The syncing functionality is currently available on over 100 Emirates Boeing 777 aircraft, but will be made progressively available across the entire fleet, including the A380, in the coming months.
