Cunard returns to Alaska

Cunard’s Queen Elizabeth has returned to Alaska with four 10-night round-trip sailings out of Vancouver in 2019, and ten in 2020.

The 2019 programme runs from May to June. Cunard will offer 10-, 11-, and 12-day round-trip voyages in 2020, visiting Glacier Bay and the Hubbard Glacier. From 2020, Cunard will offer a full season from June through to September. All voyages are roundtrips out of Vancouver, and there is one get-away cruise to San Francisco for an overnight stay on July 4, 2020. The Alaska voyages will all feature full days in ports such as Ketchikan, Victoria, Juneau, Skagway, and others.

Every voyage will have Cultured Heritage Guides, Cunard’s spa offering, and Ice White Balls in the Queen’s Room.

Guests who book a 2020 Alaska Voyage by July 31, 2019, will receive additional money to spend on board, and complimentary stateroom upgrades where guests will be able to choose the stateroom they want and pay for the stateroom a grade lower.

Cunard will also continue its partnership with Rocky Mountaineer, offering pre- and post-cruise railroad tours. These include three and five nights’ accommodation, and two full days on board the train. Highlights include the Continental Divide, Kicking Horse Canyon, Spiral Tunnesls, and Hell’s Gate in the Fraser Canyon.
