Cunard’s World Voyages to call in SA

Cunard has announced its latest programme of luxury voyages, which will see Queen Anne explore three South African cities and Queen Elizabeth make its maiden call to Durban.

The schedule for the season between October 2027 and May 2028 includes 110 new itineraries visiting 97 destinations in 47 countries. The new programme offers guests the opportunity to explore, with 22 overnight port calls and 23 late-evening departures, as well as visits to 52 Unesco World Heritage Sites.

Among the highlights are two World Voyages. Cunard’s newest ship, Queen Anne, will embark on a 111-night Western circumnavigation, and Queen Elizabeth heads east for a 113-night cruise. Both voyages depart in January 2028 and will make calls in South Africa.

Queen Anne’s World Voyage will offer overnight calls in cities including Cape Town, Los Angeles, Sydney, and Hong Kong. Other highlights include extended time in Durban, Gqeberha and Honolulu.

During Queen Elizabeth’s World Voyage, the ship will make maiden calls in Durban, St Georges in Grenada and Kingstown in St Vincent. Additionally, it will make overnight calls in Cape Town, Yokohama, Sydney and Honolulu.
