The Park Hyatt Johannesburg, initially set to open in October 2024 and then in April 2025, now has a revised opening date of June 2025.

Altaaf Kazi, Millat’s VP for Corporate Communications, confirmed that the opening of Park Hyatt Johannesburg had been adjusted to ensure that the refurbishment, renovations, and construction met certain standards.

The hotel, previously the Winston Hotel, began renovations in July 2024.

The 31 rooms will have a king-size bed and a work station and facilities will include a restaurant and bar, dining room, an outdoor terrace, and event spaces for conferences and meetings of up to 60 guests.

The Park Hyatt Rosebank is believed to be the fourth collaboration between Hyatt and the Millat Group in South Africa, the others being Hyatt House Johannesburg Rosebank, Hyatt Regency Cape Town and Hyatt House Johannesburg Sandton.
