The Delhi government has finalised plans to launch a tourist cruise service on the Yamuna River before the end of December.
The electric-solar hybrid vessel will operate between Sonia Vihar and Jagatpur in the mornings and evenings.
Passengers will enjoy panoramic views of the Yamuna’s natural landscape and Delhi's historical sites. The Department of Tourism plans to include live performances featuring traditional art and music.
The 90-seater vessel will be equipped with a restaurant and open seating, according to Hindustan Times.
A second ship could be introduced at a later stage, depending on public demand and operational feedback.
