Delta goes all in for breast cancer

09 Oct 2023
Comments | 0

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Delta is once again going pink to support the cause.

Delta is a proud supporter of 99 research projects at the Breast Cancer Research Foundation http://delta.com/BCRF (BCRF) and since 2005 until today, has raised over $24,75 million (R484m).

For the whole month of October, on Delta’s domestic flights where passengers pay for food and drinks, 25% of proceeds from all onboard food and beverage purchases will be donated to BCRF. Furthermore, in collaboration with its partners, some of Delta’s snack and drink offerings will be turning pink to show support.

Throughout October and year-round, customers can donate funds by visiting delta.com/BCRF and miles through SkyWish, the charitable arm of Delta’s SkyMiles and frequent flyer programme, which allows Delta and its SkyMiles members to donate miles to charitable organisations worldwide.

In May this year, Delta’s employees handed over a cheque for a record-breaking $3 million (R58,7m) that they raised to support BCRF.
