Asata is prioritising its support of members digitising their businesses. And it’s looking for 25 agencies who would like to trial the pilot project.
It has launched an interactive ‘Find a Member’ function on its website. The new venture is in partnership with Okomo, an official partner of ABTA – the UK’s travel agent association, and DRV (Deutsche Reiseverband) in Germany.
The function will allow members to engage with their customers as part of an ‘Omnichannel’ or ‘Hybrid Selling’ facility. Travellers will be able to initiate a video call, audio call, or chat with their chosen travel agency or travel adviser. They can also make an appointment via the appointment scheduler.
To kick-start the new feature, Asata is looking for 25 members who would like to be part of the initial pilot project, on a first-come, first-served basis.
Travel agents can opt for a simple and free version, or the professional and expert offering. The first three months of professional membership are currently free of charge.
