Eswatini Air has launched its first flights to Cape Town.

The inaugural flight took place on Friday, June 2.

The route will initially offer three flights per week on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, with a carefully planned schedule to cater for both leisure and business travellers. The route is between King Mswati III International Airport and Cape Town International Airport.

Eswatini comes through the water salute at CTIA.

RN 301departs SHO at 10h20 on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays and arrives in CPT at 12h50.

RN 302 departs CPT at 13h40 on the same days and arrives in SHO at 16h10.

The route adds one more airline to Cape Town Airport’s growing stable of international carriers.

“As the only airline connecting Eswatini and Cape Town directly, we believe that this new route will serve to strengthen tourism, business, and cultural exchanges between the Western Cape and Eswatini. It will provide travellers from both destinations with greater accessibility, opening opportunities for trade, investment, and collaboration,” says Mark Maclean, Acsa Regional GM, Cape Town International Airport.

Eswatini Air also has established routes to Johannesburg (four flights a week), Durban (daily flights) and Harare (four flights a week).
