Eurowings will launch flights between Munich and Berlin Tegel Airport from May 1.
The new service will be operated by an Airbus A319, flying four times a day on weekdays and three times a day on weekends.
“With more than 50 flights a week on this route, our customers in Munich and Berlin can look forward to benefiting from an attractive range of low-cost direct flights,” says Oliver Wagner, Eurowings chief commercial officer.
The new flights will supplement Lufthansa’s extensive offering on the route. Between the two airlines there will be more than 300 flights per week between the two cities.
The flight schedule for the new service is as follows:
