Duma unveils new Uniglobe app

DUMA Travel, through
its partnership with
Uniglobe, has launched a
travel app in the South African
market, exclusively available to
clients of Duma, Uniglobe and
their associates.
Each agency that signs up
pays a nominal fee of $50
(R686) per month for the
service and the Uniglobe
Travel Companion app can be
downloaded by clients free of
charge from app stores.
Clients’ travel itineraries
are automatically loaded on
the app, allowing them to
view their flight bookings in
one centralised place rather
than having to search through
all their emails. The app
works by connecting their
Amadeus OfficeID with the App
OfficeID so that flight details
are automatically updated.
Clients can also use the app
for mobile check-ins and can
access the latest travel news
and an extensive library of
destination guides.
Themba Mthombeni, ceo of
the Duma Travel Group, says
the app is the first in a series
of technology products that the
Duma Group will release in the
coming year.
