The historic Dutch village of Zaanse Schans, known for its windmills, will introduce a tourist entry fee from Northern hemisphere spring next year to control tourist numbers.
Visitors from outside the area will have to pay a €17,50 (R354) entry fee. The village plans to have everyone book and pay online, according to BBC.
The new fee will grant visitors admission to the museum and the inside of the windmills, attractions they currently have to pay for separately to access.
