Dubai International Airport is expected to finish installing advanced 3D baggage scanners across all terminals by May next year.
The scanners are currently being installed at Terminal 3 and will allow passengers to keep laptops and liquids inside their bags while passing through security, according to Gulf News.
The technology will generate detailed 3D images, which is expected to speed up screening, reduce wait times and enhance security at the airport.
