Emirates has partnered with the digital vouchering supplier iCoupon to automate passenger compensation during flight delays.

iCoupons’ automated vouchering system uses contact-free technology to directly transfer the value of the flight delay voucher to the passenger's boarding pass, reports travelmole.com.

The vouchers can be used at Emirates Leisure Retail and Emirate Fast Food, and with other partners in the iCoupon network.

iCoupon’s fully digital service eliminates the need for the physical distribution of paper and does not require passengers to download their vouchers.

Richard Bye, CEO of iCoupon, said: “Passenger satisfaction is pivotal and therefore the quick and seamless process iCoupon’s solution provides in the event of flight disruption cannot be understated.”
