QR reinstates multiple routes

Qatar Airways expanded its services on July 16, restoring or increasing flights to 26 destinations across its network. The growth includes nine destinations in Europe, nine across Asia and Asia Pacific, and two new and two returning routes in the Americas.

In Europe, expanded services include:

  • Belgrade, Serbia, with four weekly flights
  • Brussels, Belgium, with seven weekly flights
  • Budapest, Hungary, with four weekly flights
  • Düsseldorf, Germany, with seven weekly flights
  • Helsinki, Finland, with four weekly flights (increased to seven weekly flights from August 1)
  • Lisbon, Portugal, with seven weekly flights
  • Oslo, Norway, with seven weekly flights
  • Prague, Czech Republic, with seven weekly flights
  • Zagreb, Croatia, with four weekly flights

In Asia and Asia Pacific, the airline is returning to the following destinations:

  • Adelaide, Australia, with seven weekly flights
  • Almaty, Kazakhstan, with seven weekly flights
  • Auckland, New Zealand, with seven weekly flights
  • Baku, Azerbaijan, with seven weekly flights
  • Osaka, Japan, with five weekly flights
  • Tashkent, Uzbekistan, with four weekly flights
  • Tbilisi, Georgia, with seven weekly flights
  • Tokyo Haneda, Japan, with four weekly flights (increased to seven weekly flights from July 1)
  • Yerevan, Armenia, with four weekly flights

In the Americas, QR will launch services to Bogotá and Caracas on July 22. The airline will also return to Philadelphia on August 1 and reinstate flights to Boston with four weekly services, increasing to seven weekly flights during the FIFA World Cup.
