Ethiopia is reducing the cost of a tourist e-visa by US$20 (R360).

Tourists from South Africa travelling to Ethiopia are required to apply for an e-Visa. The cost has been reduced from US$82 (R1 470) to US$62 (R1 115).

The new reduced price comes 17 months after the country’s decision to hike the cost of the e-Visa by US$30 (R540) in February 2023, according to Visaguide.News.

The prices of all other visa categories remain the same.
