Ethiopian Airlines will increase its flights to Seoul, from five to six a week, from October 28.
Currently, flights take place on Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The new flight will operate on Wednesdays.
The additional flight, using the latest Airbus A350-900 aircraft, is a result of an expansion of the two countries’ socio-economic relations and multi-faceted partnerships between Korea and the African continent.
“Ethiopian is the only African carrier connecting Seoul to the continent and beyond, and the additional frequencies will be significant in fostering economic, cultural, and social interactions, providing more diverse and convenient connectivity options to travellers,” said Ethiopian Airlines Group CEO, Mesfin Tasew.
Ethiopian Airlines now operates flights to over 130 destinations across five continents.
