Etihad Airways has expanded its A380 operations to include Abu Dhabi-Narita.
Arik De, Chief Revenue and Commercial Officer at Etihad Airways, said the introduction responded to demand for premium travel between the two cities and marked the return of its eighth A380 to active service.
The aircraft features Etihad’s premium onboard product, including The Residence, a three-room private suite for up to two guests with a living area, bedroom and en-suite bathroom with a private shower.
First class offers nine private suites, business class provides 70 seats, and economy class accommodates 415 passengers.
The airline now operates daily flights, with services departing Abu Dhabi at 21h25 and arriving in Tokyo at 12h45 the following day. Return flights depart Tokyo at 18h00 and arrive in Abu Dhabi at 00h20 the following day.
