Etihad Airways updated its Stopover Paid by Carrier (STPC) packages recently, for passengers transiting in Abu Dhabi.
Etihad offers STPC to all premium (business- and first-class) passengers and, on certain routes, to economy-class passengers, whose transit time in Abu Dhabi is between eight and 24 hours.
STPC includes hotel accommodation (either inside or outside the airport) and lounge access (if a hotel is unavailable), for premium-class passengers, and ‘Gosleep’ sleeping pods for economy-class passengers. Physically challenged or elderly economy-class passengers will be accommodated in hotels.
Where required, a 96-hour UAE entry visa will be processed free of charge, provided a request for the visa is made five working days before departure.
