Official Airline Guide (OAG), an independent British data provider, confirms that German airline Eurowings was the most punctual European airline in January.
The airline achieved an on-time performance of 93%, a clear lead over other comparable European competitors such as Ryanair, easyJet and Wizz Air.
Michael Knitter, ceo of Eurowings, says the achievement is a motivation to continue maintaining a high standard of punctuality and stability of flight operations.
