As Explora Journeys prepares to unveil EXPLORA III on July 24, the cruise line has detailed its Northern hemisphere summer programme, which includes its debut season in Alaska.
The ship features 14 decks and 461 oceanfront suites, penthouses and residences. Onboard amenities include heated pools, indoor whirlpools and a wellness centre with a hydrotherapy pool, salt cave and contrast (hot-cold) therapy sauna, alongside fitness and sports facilities and retail stores.
Guests will also have access to a range of culinary concepts, as well as 12 bars and lounges.
Highlights of shore excursions include helicopter flights over the Juneau Icefield, catamaran cruises to North America's largest tidewater glacier, hiking in the Tongass National Forest and Alaska Rainforest Sanctuary, and boating along the Stikine River.
“The inaugural Alaskan Journeys Collection offers a distinctive range of experiences that allow guests to explore this extraordinary region with a genuine sense of connection and discovery,” said President of Explora Journeys, Anna Nash.
“It brings guests closer to the glaciers, wildlife and cultures that define the region, from helicopter flights and whale watching to authentic heritage experiences with local communities.”
Sailings will take place from May to September 2027.
