TRAVEL agents in South

Africa can now use credit

cards to pay for fastjet flights

when booking on GDSs,

through partner, Hahn Air.

Fastjet has been in

partnership with Hahn

Air under Marketing Code

H1 and Operations Code

FN since January, and

anticipates that the extended

payment option will have

a positive impact on ticket

sales and support from travel

agents.

“We welcome this move

by Hahn Air, which makes

booking and paying for

fastjet flights even easier

for travel agents,” says

Richard Bodin, fastjet’s ceo.

“Fastjet’s business model is

structured around providing

cost efficiency, convenience

and choice, which is why we

engaged with Hahn Air to

make alternative payment

options available within the

South African market.”

Tickets on fastjet’s flights

are found in Amadeus,

Apollo, AXESS, Galileo, Sabre,

Sirena and Worldspan.
