Fly Blue Crane, down but not out

02 Aug 2017

FLY Blue Crane is confident it

will again take to the skies in

the near future. Although the

airline could not disclose any

details, business practitioner,

Etienne Naude, told TNW the

airline was “in the process of

negotiating a transaction”.

In a statement, Etienne

said: “The promising but

complex discussions with

potential investors are

continuing and I remain

confident that the airline will

overcome its challenges and

return to the skies soon.”

Fly Blue Crane lodged

a voluntary application

for business rescue on

November 14 last year.

At that time, Etienne said

a turnaround plan would

be presented within a few

weeks.
