FlySafair will no longer accept cash for inflight purchases from April 17.

The airline has announced in a post on X (formerly Twitter) that onboard food purchases are through touchless payment methods.

Payments are becoming cashless for “security and environmental purposes” says the airline. In place of cash, FlySafair will accept cards, pre-paid meal vouchers and mobile tapping payments.
