FlyWestair's SA/Namibia flights are back!

28 Oct 2020

Privately owned Namibian airline, FlyWestair, re-started direct flights from Windhoek to Cape Town on Friday, October 23. The twice-weekly flights will operate on Mondays and Fridays.

The airline will also start operating two scheduled flights per week on Tuesdays and Thursdays between Hosea Kutako International Airport in Windhoek and Johannesburg’s OR Tambo from November 2. The schedule is designed to connect with several international airlines through Johannesburg, including Qatar Airways (QR recently cancelled its direct flights to Windhoek).

Since Namibia’s domestic travel restrictions were lifted, FlyWestair has been operating two flights a week between Ondangwa and Eros Windhoek, on Fridays and Sundays. These frequencies are due to increase from October 28 with the addition of a mid-week flight on Wednesdays.
