G Adventures helps agents sell ‘experience’

G Adventures has changed the categories in its brochures, listing its holiday packages according to the ‘travel style’, rather than destination.

The move was made following feedback from travel agents who wanted help establishing the right kind of travel experience for their clients, based on their interests and budget.

In its 2014 brochure, G Adventures presents its line-up of trips according to the travel experience, including:

•    Earth - classic small-group travel experiences
•    Yolo - youth (18- to 30-year-olds)
•    Comfort - formerly known as G-Plus, adventure  tours with upgraded accommodation offering
•    Marine - small ship sailing and cruising experiences.
•    Local Living - centre-based, cultural holiday experiences where travellers stay in one area for a longer time and are lodged among the locals
•    Family - educational holidays for the family
•    Active - trekking, kayaking, cycling and multisport

All brochures will be broken down by regional destinations within each travel style.
