GATWICK Express has introduced new e-ticket and m-ticket options for those who buy tickets online. The e-ticket allows customers to print their ticket at home up to 23h00 the day before travel so that they can walk straight onto the train rather than queuing to collect it. Onboard staff will then scan the barcode on their ticket during the journey. The m-ticketing facility sends the ticket directly to the passenger’s mobile phone, again up to 23h00 the day before travel. The onboard staff then scan the barcode on the mobile.
