Comments | 0

A new artisanal gin distillery, Cape Saint Blaize, has opened in Mossel Bay, Western Cape.

Launched by the Café Gannet restaurant, the Cape Saint Blaize Artisanal Distillery is housed in the Old Post Office Tree Square, neighbouring the Dias Museum and Protea Hotel by Marriott Mossel Bay.

Visitors can partake in tutored or untutored tastings offered on the hour, a distillery tour, or they can craft their own bottle of gin in a master class. Classes are offered three times daily and can accommodate from one to 24 guests at a time.

Bookings for individuals can be made on the day but earlier bookings are recommended for larger groups.

Any of the above activities can be combined with meals at the Café Gannet restaurant or with accommodation at Protea Hotel by Marriott Mossel Bay.
