“2022?... It’s been a difficult year, but ultimately an excellent one which surpassed our expectations.”

This was largely the sentiment of industry bosses Travel News chatted to at the GIT Xmas get-together at the Sandton Sun San Deck on December 8.

The Sandton Sun, as always, put on a fabulous lunch hosted by GM, Rob Jasper, and his team. The wonderful buffet they laid on was perfect for the occasion.

Proof that South Africa’s travel industry is thriving once more was the great turnout for the lunch.
