On June 11, Holland America Line (HAL) recorded the highest bookings in one day in its 150-year history, with booking revenues also breaking its single-day record, according to travelnews.ca.
"We see a record booking day like this as encouraging for the whole industry, but for Holland America Line, it's an endorsement of the quality of cruising product we're able to offer to our guests," said President Gustavo Antorcha.
Most of the sailings booked on the day were for 2024 and 2025. Reservations were made for destinations including Australia, South America, the South Pacific and Asia. There was significant interest in marquee locations at Alaska, Europe, and the Caribbean, as well as an increase in sales of HAL’s longer Legendary Voyages.
