HAHN Air’s speed-alliance
now allows travel agents
to book high-speed
trains on the GDS.
The high-speed railway
connections will be brought
under the 5W code on major
GDSs and will be available
on Amadeus and Sabre in
South Africa on the same
GDS display as airline
connections.
Electronic tickets for 5W
are issued through an
HR-169 stock by following
standard GDS ticket
processing. All HR-169
include Hahn Air’s insolvency
coverage, Securitix.
Railway connections on
the Austrian WESTbahn and
Italian Nuovo Transporto
Viaggiatori can already be
booked by travel agents. The
Spanish-based Renfe will
also soon be available under
the 5W code.
