The Hilton Garden Inn Umhlanga Arch in Durban, which opened recently, is Hilton Worldwide’s first Garden Inn in South Africa.

The Hilton Garden Inn brand –  a mid-priced range of hotels for corporate and leisure guests – is one of 18 different brands that fall under the Hilton Worldwide property portfolio.

The 14-storey, 203-room Hilton Garden Inn Umhlanga Arch includes four one-bedroom suites, five accessible rooms, 55 twin bedrooms and 139 king bedrooms. It is located in the mixed-use Umhlanga Arch and is 20 minutes from King Shaka International Airport.

The technologically advanced hotel offers contactless check-in through Hilton’s Digital Key, which allows guests to check in online, select their preferred room, access the guest lift and unlock their room door through the Hilton Honors App on their mobile phone.

Facilities include Together & Co restaurant, a convenience shop, an outdoor heated swimming pool, a fitness centre and a complimentary self-service laundry room.
