Hurtigruten has launched a new Norwegian food and drink-themed cruise itinerary as part of its Original Coastal Express voyages.

The seven-day voyage from Bergen to Stamsund includes three nights onboard, two nights at partner farms and one night at a distillery. Departures are planned for September 21, October 5, October 19 and November 2, 2025.

During the first three days, guests enjoy a shellfish platter from the local fjords, a tasting session at a distillery, a five-course tasting menu with fjord and mountain produce, a traditional lunch and a four-course dinner.

After three nights onboard, guests disembark in Stamsund. The itinerary includes a farm-to-table dinner, a seaweed lunch and a 17-course tasting menu.

On day six, guests travel to the world’s northernmost whisky distillery, for a private tour, cask tastings and a whisky-paired three-course dinner. The final day in Tromsø includes a visit to a brewery, featuring a tour, beer tasting and lunch.

Hurtigruten’s signature creations are included in some of the excursions, including the brand’s new signature bread and its unique ‘Bubbles of the Sea’ sparkling wine.
