Iata delays NewGen ISS

The go-live of NewGen ISS in BSP South Africa has been postponed – after it was originally planned for August 1, 2019 – due to the IBSP’s migration delay.

Iata issued a statement on Wednesday saying that the revised NewGen ISS and Iata EasyPay implementation dates would be communicated once the delay was resolved. The statement was directed at all Iata-accredited agents and BSP participating airlines in BSP South Africa.

Sara Hernández Horlock, head of Iata’s Customer Service Centre, said that the implementation of the IBSP’s DPC software “is a prerequisite for the launch of NewGen ISS and Iata EasyPay in a market”.
