IHG launches loyalty programme in SA

InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has launched Business Club in South Africa, a rewards programme for corporate customers who book hotels under IHG for conferences, meetings or accommodation.
Business Club was designed to reward corporate bookers and meeting planners who choose to hold their company events at, or book their colleagues into, a hotel under the IHG brand. They are invited to become a Business Club member when they make their bookings and each confirmation entitles them to Business Club points that translate into discounted room rates or special offers for personal or corporate use.
Points can be redeemed in a variety of ways. Members can convert their Business Club points into IHG Rewards Club points, which enable them to redeem personal complimentary room nights at any hotel worldwide. Business Club vouchers offer discounts on meeting room bookings, food and beverage or hotel stays at participating hotels; or 'Time for You' vouchers entitle them to discounts at hundreds of local retailers.
